StormShop Mobile Release
We made it to our next milestone!! 🏔 StormShop is available on mobile as part of our StormPlay app on both android and iOS in the USA and Canada.
What is StormShop?
StormShop is the first step to empower the world to earn crypto while they shop online. Just like how shoppers earn cash back at retail stores StormShop offers crypto back on hundreds of top brands including eBay, NewEgg, GameStop, and Groupon. You simply search for a store in the app, start the offer, buy your products per usual and then earn crypto back rewards based on how much money you spent. The more you spend, the more you earn with some stores giving you up to 40% crypto back!!
Why did we do this?
More than ever people are shopping from their phones so it only makes sense that StormShop should live in the StormPlay app. Users can still benefit from using the StormShop Browser Extension, but when you’re out in the world with only your phone you’ll still be able to shop and earn crypto.
What else is new?
The 👾 leaderboard is finally released!! This follows our longtime goal of creating a more gamified way to earn and shop online. When you open the leaderboard for the first time you’ll see your temporary nickname listed with all your fellow StormX’ers 👍 You can change your nickname till your heart’s content.
